Public Search Instructions

1. For date fields, the format is mm/dd/yyyy
2. The "full text" queries search for terms in the document. The term can be combined with other fields associated with the document.
3. In "full text" queries, you can use the following patterns
• Exact phrase: "term1 term2"
• Boolean: term1 AND term2 OR term3 NOT term4
• Soundex: S{term}
• Fuzzy: F{term}
• Near: N#{term1, term2}
4. *Asterisks* around a search term will return documents where the field contains the term (e.g. - *Orange* in the Street field will return items with either Orangewood and Orangethorpe)
